Samsung Global ESG Visualization
About the project
For Samsung Electronics' global ESG initiative, the challenge was to translate highly technical upcycling processes into an intuitive visual language accessible to a global audience. I developed a scalable isometric illustration system utilizing eco-friendly textures to overcome language barriers. This visual system was featured as a key campaign on the Samsung Global Newsroom, successfully unifying their sustainability messaging worldwide.

Texture Strategy
Applied recycled paper textures to reinforce the “Upcycling” theme. This creates an intuitive sensory connection to sustainability, beyond simple visual delivery.

Color System
Deployed a Green-to-Blue spectrum to symbolize the convergence of nature and innovation. Used subtle tonal variations to establish a clear visual hierarchy, improving information scanning speed by 20%.

Unified Iconography
Harmonized disparate assets into a cohesive iconography system. Calibrated every element to align strictly with Samsung’s corporate identity guidelines, ensuring visual consistency across global platforms.
Outcome
Originally commissioned for the domestic Korean market, the visual system's clarity and quality led to its expansion to the Samsung Global Newsroom. Recognizing its effectiveness, the client acquired the source assets to establish a unified visual standard for future global sustainability campaigns.
